In Europe, Europe Day is
an annual celebration of peace and unity in Europe, that is observed on the 9th of May
in the countries of EC and in Ukraine it has been officially celebrated on the third
Saturday in May since 2003.
European
Union declared the 9thn of May as Europe Day at the summit in Milan
in 1985. The 9th of May is also considered as the birthday of
European Union.
