I’m 15, tall, sporty, keen on surfing the Internet and meeting new people. I also like listening to music, especially songs in English. I think that Ricky Martin and the Beatles are the best and collect all the information about them. English is my favourite foreign language, so for me it would be really cool to e-mail with some native speakers.

Answer:Everybody dreams about a perfect day of the life. We want to have the whole day at our own to be able to go wherever we want, to see whatever we dream about, to do whatever we like.
Of course, tastes differ, and each of us have there own thoughts as for the perfect day. When I try to imagine a perfect day of my life, there is at least one thing I’m sure about: this is the day when I don’t have to study.
As I really love nature and tries to spend as much time as possible outdoors, I would definitely spend my perfect day somewhere far away from the hectic and busy city. Of course, some people would prefer to travel to some exotic country, some tropical island, but I feel really good in our places, so I would prefer to find a picturesque spot on the bank of the river with a forest nearby. Of course, the weather would be absolutely fantastic – a warm and sunny day in July, with cloudless blue sky, light breeze and peace and calmness of high summer.
Frankly speaking I’m sick and tired of crowds, so I would take only some close friends with me. I don’t want to make a mess of my perfect day. Roaming the forest, swimming and paddling in the river, making the fire we would forget that somewhere, not far from this place, there exists our civilization and people are busy with everyday routine. All the problems and the things, which have been bothering you, would disappear for the day.
If you ask me, the perfect day is the one when you are absolutely free in your thoughts, desires and activities. The cherished dream of the whole mankind has always been freedom. And in fact we so rarely can be fully free, because of all our duties, of all those rules and obligations that society lay on us.
So if you ask me whether it is possible to have a perfect day, my answer will be definitely yes. You should just feel free and happy, choose the right time, the right place and the right people.
There is nothing impossible for us, if only we really want it.
Card 21 II Task: Write an e-mail to your friend and invite him/her to your birthday party. Include this information: when and where it is going to take place; what food and drinks there will be; the dress code; how to get to your place.

I would be really glad to see you at my birthday party on Saturday, March 26, 2011. Will you come to "Bravo” caf? at 6 sharp? The cuisine is delicious there, they have a lot of original specialties and really good life music. It will be a fancy dress party. There will be all our friends, so I would be really disappointed if you couldn’t come.
The address is 12,Shevchenko St. You can take bus 12, it goes straight from your place to the caf?.
I hope you can come and look forward to seeing you.
IIITask: Yesterday you invited your friend to go to the cinema. Unfortunately, you couldn’t get to the cinema on tome. Phone and tell him/her about it. Include this information: apologize to your friend; explain why you were late; suggest meeting another time.
Answer:Hi, friend, I’m awfully sorry for having been late yesterday for the cinema! It’s all my fault.
The matter is that my mom had asked me to take some medicine to our granny, who lives in a suburb. There is only few bus routes there and it took me an hour to get to my granny. She felt not very well, so I had to spend some time with her till my uncle came home from work. On my way back the bus I was on broke and I had to wait 30 minutes for the next one. When I came to the cinema the film had already started and as I didn’t know whether you were at the cinema or not I decided better to go home. It was a definitely unlucky day.
I couldn’t even let you know about all those troubles, because my mobile was discharged. I hope I didn’t spoil your evening. If you didn’t see the film, let’s go to the cinema on Friday, if it suits you, or we can do it any other day. After the film we could go to a caf? to drink a cup of coffee and share our impressions. How do you feel about it?
Sorry again, I promise it won’t happen any more.

I’m with my parents in the Carpathians now. We came there 3 days ago and going to spend 10 more days the hotel we are staying at is pretty good and cozy. Weather and scenery are fantastic!
There is a nice rock nearby and I can practice climbing every day! Yesterday saw a real wild deer in the forest!

III Task: Talk about the kind of music you like. Include this information: your favourite singer/band; where you usually listen to music; what kind of music you don’t like; say if you play any musical instrument or sing or dance yourself.
Answer:I think that nowadays we can’t imagine our life without music. We hear it everywhere: on TV and radio, in buses and cars, even in shops and supermarkets.
Young people usually listen to music a lot, I can say that we are literally obsessed with music. As for me, I listen to music since early morning and till the time I go to bed. I listen to it even when I do my homework!
My favourite Ukrainian band is "Okean Elzy” I think that it plays a real music, which appeals to our souls, the members of the rock group always manage to combine the beauty of tone and lyrics in their songs. By the way, "Okean Elzy” has won a lot of musical awards and is already well-known in many countries, for example, in Russia it is extremely popular.
As for the kind of music I like, I think that there is no good or bad type of music, all music is beautiful if it is composed to express the true feelings of the creator. Of course I have certain preferences: as a rule I listen to pop-rock or folk-rock, but I have some pop-singers I like to listen to and sometimes I feel like listening to come popular classic melodies. but I don’t like hard-rock because of its aggressiveness and depressive lyrics.
Unfortunately I don’t play any musical instruments, but I have always been dreaming about learning to play the guitar. I have a lot of friends and when we gather together I could play the guitar for we could sing songs. And I also would like to learn to dance well. My favourite TV show is "Everybody dance!”("Танцуют все!” ) and I always admire the talent and skills of the contestants.
